Biography of Joanna Maitland, Author
Joanna Maitland published 13 Regency historicals with Harlequin Mills & Boon (full printable list here) and they have sold nearly one and a half million copies around the world, with readers in countries as diverse as Japan and Brazil. She is now an independently published author and is editing and republishing her backlist. She is continuing to write new Regencies, but also hopping over the hedge into lush new pastures. Her first Regency timeslip, Lady in Lace, was published in 2018 and her Victorian timeslip, One Christmas Tree To Go, appeared in the 2019 anthology I Hate Christmas. She’s even written a vampire romance for the 2020 six-author anthology, Beach Hut Surprise.
If there’s history involved, Joanna is up for it. (Do vampires qualify as “history”? Perhaps not.)
Joanna is one of the founding partners of Libertà Books. She is also a proud and long-standing member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association which recently honoured her by making her a Vice President of the Association.
