I love reading and writing historical romantic adventures in the comfort of my own armchair!

I write mainly as Sarah Mallory, fast-paced, romantic adventures for Harlequin Mills & Boon, and also as Melinda Hammond.

Born in the West Country, I moved north and brought up my family in the Pennines of West Yorkshire, where long walks on the moors brought inspiration. Now the children have grown up and flown the nest and we have run away too, to live by the sea on the wild west coast of Scotland. What an adventure, and — hopefully — lots of inspiration for even more stories!
